As a real estate professional, you live and breathe change. Effective marketing is key because exposure is what grants agents the leads they need to grow their business. Social media platforms, applications, technology are constantly upgraded and updated, and it is crucial to get up to speed with them as your business depends on the leads and sales they can help generate.
Keep it Short and Sweet
There's no need to overdo it, if you're doing it well. Keep things as concise as possible, be direct, and above all make sure everything you put out online is user friendly. No one, and we mean no one, revisits a hard to navigate website, etc. Make sure that your lead campaigns, articles, advertisements, virtual tours, videos, and pictures would look good both on a computer screen and a cellphone screen.
Utilize Facebook.
Target your audience. Target by location via zip code, age range, home ownership, income, and probability of moving. Narrowing your target audience down will help accumulate more quality and convertible leads. Take advantage of Facebook’s features such as the 360 video, which allows buyers to navigate the property using their devices. However, do not mislead clients by posting unrealistic imagery of properties.
Optimize Lead Generation
Effective marketing is all about lead generation. Be creative in generating and converting leads. Whether it’s posting two blog entries on your website per week, or uploading a video on Facebook and Youtube - keep trying new things. The more you try, the better results you'll have.
Stay in Touch with Former Clients
It is very important to maintain relationships with past clients. Staying top of mind with former clients is effective marketing because these clients can grant you either a) repeat business or b) referrals. Referrals are what builds up an agent's reputation. These clients can become advocates for your skill set as an agent and further promote your business.
Keep Up With the Trends
Whether it's blogging, TikTok, Instagram stories, or Facebook Live - agents need to keep up with the trends. Agents must continue to work on where the people are already spending time, and focus their marketing there.
