These days, most agents use their phone for pretty much everything. That being said, agents may have several apps downloaded that make their days more streamlined. They also may have apps that just sit on their phone, taking up space, and sending needless notifications.
There are some apps out there that are better than others, the apps that every agent needs. Read more to find out a handful.
Managing/Productivity
Every agent should have the basic property seeking tools downloaded on their phone. These include Redfin or Zillow, and the MLS app: MLS-Touch. This way agents can quickly look up properties, comps, etc. and stay on the pulse.
Agents should also have any apps that deal with vacation rentals if applicable, like Airbnb and VRBO. Even if an agent isn't involved in property management, they may be working with investors that want to know the rental market in the area.
Then there's the apps that streamline your day. If an agent isn't into the pre-downloaded calendar app on their iPhone or Android, then Google Calendar or something similar should be a go to. A shareable calendar is a must for agents so that they can keep all their ducks in a row.
Other apps like Dropbox and Docusign are go-tos for agents so that they can send, receive, and download files on the go. Plenty of agents rely heavily on the Google Suite of apps: Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc. - and this is never a bad idea because they're pretty universal and are easily exported to other formats.
Marketing/Branding, etc.
Especially if an agent doesn't hire out their social media - they may need to make flyers or graphics to post. Canva is a great choice for this and elements of it are even free. There's also all of your social media apps, of course.
