Networking opportunities are something that should always be utilized by real estate agents. Growing your business is vital. So, no opportunity to network should be wasted. As the year wraps up, networking is more important than ever.
2023 will be here before we know it, we're in our second week of November now and the holidays will spin by all of us. So, be sure to be ready to network during the flurry of events heading your way.
Lean Into Your Community
Now is the time to lean into your community. Street fairs, holiday parties, grand openings, festivals - you name it! If your community is hosting something, you should be there. Of course, you may not be able to make it everything but when it comes to wrapping up the year - every networking opportunity counts!
Potential clients could be anywhere you go, so be sure to be personable and mention what you do for a living. That being said, nobody likes a pushy real estate agent, so be sure to be casual and talk about things other than work. It's more important that someone likes you and then remembers you are a real estate agent when they need you in the future.
Every Event is an Opportunity
Be sure to view every event as a networking opportunity. Business may slow down during the holidays, doesn't mean you do. Every time you are out in your community, is a chance.
Another networking opportunity as we wrap up the year is holiday cards! It's a great idea to send cards to past and present clients. This keeps you top of mind. Being top of mind is one of the most effective subtle marketing and networking techniques.
2022 is closing soon and with it, new opportunities will be upon us. For now, use what you've got to the best of your abilities!
