Heading into 2023 is an exciting time for pretty much everyone. It's been a long two years for America, and the world. The real estate industry has seen changes like never before and patterns of old have gone by the wayside. But, history repeats itself and all markets operate on a cycle. Luckily, at the end of the day - real estate always appreciates. Having this knowledge is key as an agent as we head into 2023 and a lot of unknowns. Be sure to take the following three tips with you into the new year.
Marketing Is King
We really can't stress it enough. Marketing is king now and in the future. A large part of marketing is social media. So, don't forget to drive home your efforts on social media and marketing as we head into 2023.
Market every possible thing you can for your business. That means listings, sales, rentals, client testimonials, your office space, your team, and yourself. Potential clients need to feel like they can trust who they hire to help them through some of the most important financial and life decisions they'll make. Marketing builds trust because it provides the illusion of more personal connection.
As we enter 2023, it's a great time to spend the extra money on boosting posts and ads and making sure your social media is strategically posted.
Trust Yourself
One of the most important things you can bring with you into 2023 and beyond is to trust yourself. You have you license. You know your local market and community. You work hard. So, stop doubting yourself and your abilities and start being president of your own fan club.
Trusting yourself will pay off in the long run because you'll start to see other areas of your life and business fall into place. Move out of your own way and let the good things come your way. This might look like new opportunities and lead sources, or even a new team to join.
Either way, odds are you have some decisions to make and it's time to trust yourself!
Integrity
As markets shift and the industry continues to shift, integrity can be harder and harder to come by. Real estate is a sales industry but it is also a deeply personal one. So, integrity is a must if one wants to not only grow their business but also their reputation. Unfortunately, successful agents who have poor reputations in the professional community are a dime a dozen, all because they lack integrity.
While success may look like large commission checks - going into 2023, remember what is really important for your business and your life.
