You might think you have the best images, a pretty website, and the best content out there, but still, you are not turning traffic into leads. Or, who knows, you might not even have enough traffic what-so-ever. Regardless of the case, you want to know why your website is not converting. Here are the 5 REAL reasons your website is not converting and how to fix them.
People do not know about you
It’s not a field of dreams. A website is only as good as the traffic it gets. The more traffic driven to your website the more opportunities you’ll create. As a real estate professional you need to setup all your marketing funnels to point to back to your website. Making it the focal point of all your marketing.
You are not descriptive enough
You might get noticed, but do you have what the client is looking for? A visit to lead conversion comes, for the most part, from answering your prospect's questions. You must describe what you have to offer and what separates you from the competition the best you can. There is no room for confusion in this area.
You do not seem trustworthy
If you are new out in the market, the level of trust is something you might not have generated yet, or well enough. Along with a vague description of what you have to offer, conversion rates might suffer, and you know it. So, evaluate the information you are providing to visitors, would you want to do business with yourself based on what’s found on your website?
You are not engaging enough
If you want an improvement in the quality of leads area, then there is no room for one-way conversations. Make your traffic feel involved in what you do. People like to feel involved, and they love the feeling of belonging to something or someone. If you implicate your readers in your actions by, asking questions, then you might just win a little more conversion attention. What areas of your website are the most engaging? Do you have articles to read? What about videos to watch?
The website is ugly
It sure does sound harsh, but the ugly truth has to come out from time to time. People do not like to see the ugly in life, and a website is no exception. This is your virtual office, sometimes the first thing a client sees before starting a relationship with you. If you did not modify your website's design in the last couple of years, you should consider doing so now. This is your brand, your digital footprint, your reputation.
If you take a few hours every month to invest in your marketing, you will see positive changes. It is important to know that you never have to give up and you must always look for ways to improve, not only the website but your marketing strategy. Marketing is ever changing. How are you embracing the changes? Who are you partnered with so you don’t have to be the real estate expert and marketing expert?
