Sometimes clients just aren't loving, well, anything. This can be really hard as a real estate agent. Especially when agents are running out of ideas to please their clients. A low inventory can be the culprit but sometimes it's just the reality of a clients expectations or desires.
Keep On, Keepin' On
There's unfortunately no faster way out, then through. So just keep working the best you can with what you have. Be sure to take care of yourself too so that you can bring your best self to your clients.
If clients aren't loving any of the homes you're showing them - it's time to think outside the box. What might they like that they aren't considering right now? Remember to get down to just a few must-haves and then move forward from there.
If a client is having a hard time listing their home or accepting offers, it's time to look at the big picture. Is the client going to sell? Are emotions getting in the way? There's not much an agent can do here but be supportive, but don't devote all your time to sellers like this as they may not turn out even after all your hard work.
Don't Take it Personally
Whatever you do - don't take it personally. While clients do want to hold their real estate agents accountable, what they're upset about isn't you. It's the circumstances they can't control, but wish they could. After all; buying, selling, or renting a home is a lot of stress.
The list really does go on. Twitter gives agents the opportunity to share bite sized updates and news with their audience. Doing so further promotes their online voice and brand which is essential in 2022.
What Agents Can Do
What agents can do is keep their heads up and keep focusing on business aspects that are positive. They can also prepare their clients to the best of their abilities. This preparation is going to be the best tool an agent can use. That way, when opportunity does strike and clients find themselves loving something - they're ready.
